Pricing For Day In The Life Video, Legal Video Settlement Documentaries

No travel fees, no credit card fees, no surprise charges. Absolutely no outsourcing. I work with you, on location.

I am retained by more than 200 law firms that want the quality and professionalism of a litigation communication expert, not a deposition videographer. I am an award-winning former on-air network news correspondent. My legal video productions have helped induce nearly $1B in settlements across North America and assisted the United States Department of Justice with a major corporate prosecution. Whether showing how a child with Cerebral Palsy is struggling through life, how a bilateral amputee is adjusting to life without limbs, or how a family is mourning the loss of a loved one who would still be alive if not for a defendant’s negligence, my legal video pricing is straightforward. I do not charge for reasonable domestic travel, there are no credit card fees, there is never a charge to re-edit for trial and I do not outsource.

I log more than 100,000 miles each year working on location with attorneys and their clients.

Day In The Life Video Pricing, Also Life After Loss®, Settlement Video

Day In The Life Videos tend to run in the $7800 to $8800 range. There is no fee for domestic travel and there is never a fee to re-edit for trial admissibility.

Life After Loss® Videos, which are my trademarked productions best described as a short “day in the life video” with short “settlement video” elements (brief liability segment, emotional interviews),  price between $9,000 and $14,000. These are my most popular and successful productions. The vast majority price under $10,000.

Settlement Documentaries, also known as “Video Settlement Brochure” productions and “Legal Video Demand Packages” start at $8,500 and can surpass $30,000.  These tend to be used in high-stakes, high-value litigation.

Witness Preparation and Sentencing Mitigation videos: Please telephone or send a message.

For all productions: there is no travel fee, no surprise up-sell, and work commences with a small retainer. The balance is payable upon completion. Credit cards and e-checks are accepted with no fee.

Regardless of production selected, I will work with you and your team to develop a timeline that makes sense for your case. With your permission, I speak with your client(s) and “hand hold” them through the process — alleviating fears and concerns before the day of production.

I use small 4K equipment which produces stunning results without intimidating your clients. I do not travel with an entourage — I personally shoot, edit and produce all elements of your documentary. When appropriate, I send a small “home video camera” to your client in advance, so more personal events can be captured on video by a family member, not a stranger.

After The Shoot

In the case of a “Day In The Life Video,” I consult with you to determine what should be included or excluded from the final production.

In the case of a litigation documentary, I work with you to develop an effective narrative and enjoy a “back and forth” relationship — ensuring that the final product is exactly what you want. The project is not complete until you say that it is complete.
