Legal Day In The Life Video | Andrew No Background

THE BASICS: Andrew Colton’s “day in the life legal video” and Federally trademarked “life after loss®” legal video settlement documentaries routinely induce major, record, and landmark settlements. Andrew is not your local “legal videographer.” He is an award-winning former on-air national network news correspondent retained by attorneys nationwide to personally produce work product that makes cases stronger. Andrew operates as a “one man band” which keeps costs down, quality exceptionally high, and lets your client feel comfortable knowing that a “crew” isn’t degrading personal experiences, or viewing personal events. Andrew uses small HD and 4K equipment. He is trusted and respected for his calm, professional approach.

SIMPLE PRICING. Andrew charges one fee. There is no charge for reasonable domestic travel, there are no credit card fees, there is never a charge to re-edit for trial, and there is never outsourcing. Andrew personally handles it all. Andrew Colton logs more than 200,000 miles each year working on location across the country and around the world with attorneys and their clients.

Day In The Life Videos tend to run in the $8000 to $10,000 range. There is no fee for domestic travel. There is never a fee to re-edit for trial admissibility. I traditionally request a small retainer to start with the balance due several months later. You will traditionally have a first version of your video just days after it is shot. I accept credit cards without a fee.

Life After Loss® Videos, which are my federally trademarked productions, are best described as damages-focused settlement documentaries with “day in the life video” elements as appropriate. These are my most popular and successful productions. The vast majority price well under $12,000. Like my “day in the life” videos, I traditionally request a small retainer to start with the balance due months down the road.

Settlement Documentaries, also known as “Video Settlement Brochure” productions and “Legal Video Demand Packages” start at $10,000 and can surpass $30,000.  These tend to be used in high-stakes, high-value litigation. Like my other productions, I traditionally request a small retainer to start with the balance due months down the road.

Witness Preparation and Sentencing Mitigation videos: Please telephone or send a message.

For all productions: there is no travel fee, no surprise up-sell, and work commences with a small retainer. The balance is payable upon completion. I accept credit cards, ACH/e-checks, Zelle, and most likely whatever system your firm uses.

Regardless of the production selected, I will work with you and your team to develop a timeline that makes sense for your case. With your permission, I speak with your client(s) and “hand hold” them through the process — alleviating fears and concerns before the day of production.

I use small 4K equipment which produces stunning results without intimidating your clients. I do not travel with an entourage — I personally shoot, edit and produce all elements of your documentary. When appropriate, I send a small “home video camera” to your client in advance, so more personal events can be captured on video by a family member, not a stranger.

After The Shoot.

In the case of a “Day In The Life Video,” I consult with you to determine what should be included or excluded from the final production.

In the case of a litigation documentary, I work with you to develop an effective narrative and enjoy a “back and forth” relationship — ensuring that the final product is exactly what you want. The project is not complete until you say that it is complete.
